here are a few pointers on coil technique. You'll be surprised how much your missing out on if you don't swing the detector correctly.

Ed and myself return to the field where we found 75 gold staters. We planned to show the technique we used and to show a gold stater, freshly dug, in the flesh... Sometimes best laid plans just don't workout. This is a short video that was shot but never aired, until now.... It contains some bad language (bleeped out) and shows how frustrating metal detecting can be.
