    Religious items.

Hi Guys, found these 2 items on the same beach on different days, i think the one on the left is a Miraculous Medal but have no idea what the other is or what they are made of (dont think its precious metal) anyway, any info would be appreciated,

    thanks

    Kevin

They have been in the drink for a while. Found one similar at Cromer last year.

Think they are made in base metal thats why they are in such a state.

Wander too close to any of the famous cathedrals in Paris and you'll be mobbed by street sellers offering such stuff.

I found one of those also. At first, the 1830 date convinced me it was very old (at least for Northern California). But online research revealed that they were made more recently.

Here’s a link to a website with some similar items.

    Re: Religious items.

The one on the right looks similar to a Saint Christopher Medal. Usually, he’s holding the staff in the right hand, but some medallions it’s in his left.

Here’s a link to some images.
