Photo uploading not happening anymore

I have loaded photos on posts without problem in the past.

I have tried several times over the last week to upload photos and each time it fails.

File size is always small (less than 100K) jpeg.

tired png etc.

each time i get a failed cross on the picture update.

whats is going on ?

Don't seem to have any problems:

I use PhotoBucket.

yes but you are using a third party web site, i am talking about putting photos directly on this site using its upload facility.

I have just compared your account profile with a platinum member profile and I see that "uploading images" is not allowed for non platinum members.
There was a time when all rules were not in place and it was basically a open forum for all members but as planned many things got locked down and made available for "platinum or platinum plus"members.
I think your best option is to use photobucket.

In addition to using Photobucket, Imageshack or other similar photo download sites, there's also the advantage of archiving photos in case of a catastrophic hard drive crash, burned down house, flood, tornado, etc.
Another advantage is that you own or control the pic. It can be deleted easily from a post by deleting or changing its name at Photobucket. Once you hard upload a pic to a website, especially a website that has weak or no editing policies, that website basically controls your pic.
Adding to this, most websites also have picture memory limits for its users.
