Dark evenings now means dectecting restricted to weekends, so yesterday was alpine industrial strength rain so did not venture out. This morning 3 inches of snow, total whiteout and 0 degrees C. Tried 3 fields, I was frozen to the core and found nothing. As I said, oh well.
Make mental note to get new gloves for this winter season.
Top marks for trying, buy yourself some decent thermals to keep your bits warm.
Detect Today Work Tomorrow
Snow here in Czech also. Not too cold though.
The scenery can be awesome in winter but keeping me hands warm is the part that does me. Happy hunting on ya next trip.
detecting in snow - now thats hardcore- i thought i was hard today detecting in the pouring rain - but snow nahh - your metal detecting nutters you lot
I'll try to keep detecting as long as the ground is not frozen solid and less than an inch of snow.
