hi the shells are from the war times hope to find the gun they came from, the button is in olive oil at mo being cleaned , ile have a look tom if clean ile do a close up of it and put it on , thanks , malc , !
Well done on your bit's,button look's naval to me if that's an anchor on it.
Your site at some point must have been use as a rifle range or army manouvers. If you look at the base of some cartridge shells you can date them with the information given ie maker ect.

deffo heavy caliber judging from the other finds, maybe 30 or 50cal cant really tell without scaling but the wee silver is stunning, nice finds
