Hi all

Would like to thank Minelab & John Gladd's at Coiltek Maryborouigh Vic for my win this weekend at the Token-Key hunt, we had two great days camp onsite.

I found the only key that would fit the strong box that had the 705 with the 15'' coil so top my Birthday weekend of just nicely
My so call mates took some very good photos of the presentation which gave many a laugh

This is what the Tokens and Allenkeys looked like

and the winning key had one side filed down

Here they are getting ready to see who has the key

and it opened and then looked inside to find a dummy inside, I then said I came all this way for that, and stuck the dummy in my mouth and walked off,,,, but these more

So dug deep in the box again and got a card out which said congradulations you have won the Detector

Was give the Prize and had my Photo with the Town Mayor and the Town Queen

And a kiss from the Queen

Then the Mayor tried is luck but got the tongue

So its been a top year lots of Vic gold and 6 gold Sov's and now to win a Detector on my Birthday what could beat that.

Some people have all the luck. Finding all those gold Sovs a while back and now winning the detector for your birthday.
Congratulations and looks like lots of fun at the Ararat Gold Dig.
I didn't make it this year,but was there a few years ago with Robsue.

Excellent stuff. But why is the little boy locked up in the cage? Did he do something wrong or is it some kind of Oz Rites of Passage thing ?

A great day was had by all and all got a prize for just entring.

Swissrolly, He is in the cage because we put him on the spit to eat for the celebrations after the prizes were handed out Lol, just kidding you the kids just love playing on the truck.

Looking forward to trying the 705 on the Sov patch to see if the 3030 left any behide
