just wanted to say thanks for the amazingly fast delivery on my 6" coil really appreciate it guys

and its arrived just in time to get on TV as they are sending a film crew out tomorrow to film the dig......now i can get on tv and impress all the girls with my shiny 6 inches

i have got some footage but because the castle is open to the public at the moment i have to keep an eye on my gear and do the job it hard to film as well, hopefully i will get something because the archeologists are a really great bunch pro detecting and it would be good to show we are on the same side.

its not shinny now, after 2 days of running my six inches over the archaeologists slots in the poring rain we (thats me and the ctx) are as dirty as can be but i tell you what it was a bloody good 2 days the 6" coil is really good! and we got the star find of the dig which was a medieval copper vessel AND i was told that it was best if i excavated it to stop it from being damaged any more WTF? so i even got to spend the day digging the artifact

only down side was it stopped me detecting for the rest of the day........so now i have to go back tomorrow

im going to have to do a post on the 6" coil, its a nice bit of kit!

I had a feeling it was gonna be a winner after playing with it on our tested at work. Monday or Tuesday for me now on the mill field, and I can't wait!
