Seems quite expensive to me but that is only my personal opinion, spending £2k on a detector would make me think about buying a set, but luckily I am not in that position. Almost certain someone else will come up with a better priced alternative soon.

not on the website. i called to ask about availability and the said they were ready now. so i ordered a set. £20. i think the ones at crawfords are a little OTT, but if the ones from JA are not up to snuff, i'll think about spending £49 on the blue ones.

I'm with Steve in that they do seem a bit OTT. A screen cover, yes I can see the reasoning but for a waterproof machine the rest seems a bit excessive.

I Think they look a bit naff a lot naff, very amaturish... Poor quality. I would wait for one of the pro companys to produce them.....then im sure the other copy cat/cats will follow with cheaper ones

i really dont understand why they have made the screen cover like that as you cant even see the buttons on the machine and like gazzaj said where is the hole to plug your headphones?

Does everything CTX have to come with a f%$**£$ big price tag ? not a bad set of cover though the colour is crap but the price !

I suppose they think if you can afford the CTX,you will pay a bit more to protect it

Poduce the machine cheaper then they sell more , unit cost comes down and they make more money and sell more and put the competition in the s4!7$

I Totaly agree to...Seams like the days of common sense are long gone. We are just left with greed and poor sevice. And in most cases the like it or lump it attitude......

Got my covers from JA today and very happy with quality and service, to be honest Crawfords covers look like they were made for the DFX, especially the control box cover and the colour is naff too
