    Stunning hammered that Wow and the condtion too. Early Henry III looks like a class 1b to me.

    No wonder you were not especially thrilled after your initial search at the Wantage Rotary Club dig last Sunday. That's a really beautiful coin and sets you a high standard.

    I found a worn, cracked Lizzie at Wantage and, a yet to be ID'd split half this afternoon. Well down the pecking order when compared with your latest but I'm still pleased to find them.

    that has been the story off my metal detecting found realy good stuff to soon to young made some stupid decisions in selling the finds to fund metaldetectors but we live and learn. its nice to be building a nice collection again i realy appriciate my finds now.
