Cheerio Lancastrian, some of us have tried to help but you seem far too ready to moan. I'm an easy going git really but your attitude is the pits! Goodbye and good riddance.

    Re: meter cover

Don't need people on this forum with an attitude problem like yours Lancastrian. I wouldn't offer somebody like you an ounce of help, disappear I would before you upset somebody good and proper.
Why Waste time using an ordinary detector when you have the option to own a CTX3030.

I think Steve has let himself down with his rude response to his own post!

If I had known he had a question to ask I would have cancelled my plans today to sit in front of my computer to answer

No loss to this forum - Goodbye

Looking at his posts it is obvious his frustrations of learning a new machine have overwhelmed any cool he may, or may not have had.

You may well be correct about coils, but what I hear is the depth is similar. Still, until the pioneers start to post their honest conclusions, we will not learn a thing. I think it was Tony Hunt who said they were keeping their findings secret. Why, I can only guess. It doesn't help people who may wish to purchase this machine, including me.

    Re: meter cover

Hi lancastrian, I hope you manage to stay with the forum but wanting a response to your question in just 3 hours is unrealistic, most folk are tied up with family on a bank holiday or doing stuff, I have spent the best part of it decorating my partners lounge as it is hissing it down here today in the west country, so take a calm down pill and chill out. You will get lots of help from the forum members but don't expect them to be on standby for you 24/7.
