    Comming to Corfe.

Got news from the Hospital today that the surgeon is prepared to wait and operate on my knee in October, so I can get to Corfe without the worry of getting fit after an operation. I am realy looking forward to it and seeing everyone again and aslo meeting anyone who as not been there before. Another point I AINT WEARING NO DRESS THIS YEAR, Vera as retired. Although I live on the North Wales Coast, due to circumstances, I will be setting of for Corfe from the Wolverhampton area. I will be making a week of it, if anyone lives in the Wolverhampton area or on route to Corfe who wants a lift contact me. I will be travelling down the M6/M5 possibly the M40 not yet decided. I dont mind a short detour off the Motorway to pick someone up but it would be better to pick someone up on the Motorway services and drop them of at the same place on the way back. I have a van so theres plenty of room for camping equipment ect.

The slapper returns. Will be great to see you Dave.

When are you travelling down? I am going down on Wednesday 26th.

If you want a cup of tea to break the journey just let me know. I live about 15 mins from M40 near Oxford.

Thanks for the kind offer Mal, but I will be travelling through the night to get there early morning. I will get there on the Monday morning and will be meeting Mike and David there.

Best of both worlds... you go the Corfe and you get your knee done. Looking forward to it although I could have a transport crisis myself if Offas Dad is still in hospital.

Actually we could do your knee for you, I'm sure we could rustle up a pen knife and a bike pump from somewhere.

Great news dave, I owe you a beer from last year, saving me from a dress fest.
