A new E-trac user from the Netherlands

Hello, my name is Menno and I'm 35 years old.
A few days ago I purchased myself a used E-trac.
And now I'm trying to learn the functions of it.
So I think I'll be reading and learning a lot on this forum.

    Welcome to the gang!
I would definatly download the manual and give it a read, E-trac is a very nice piece of kit.

Oh and if you're stuck in English, vraag het gewoon in het nederlands, er zitten hier wel een paar nederlandstaligen op.
But you'll get a lot more response from the other members when posting in MLO speak.

Welcome to the world of metal-detecting! After downloading the User Manual I would reccomend picking up a copy of Andy Sabisch's book The Minelab Explorer & E-Trac Handbook. It will pick up where the UM left off by telling you what effects changing your settings will have on your detector and its operation. Hope this helps, if all else fails just get a CTX 3030, you know you want one .
