Xchange 2, Internet Explorer incompatibility issue.

    CTX 3030
“The XChange 2 software application has an incompatibility with older versions of the Internet Explorer web browser that may result in an inability to access some sites such as Facebook and YouTube.
There are a number of immediate ways to resolve this.

    • Alternate web browsers such as Firefox or Chrome do not exhibit this problem and are available to download from www.mozilla.org and www.google.com/chrome respectively.
    • Upgrading Internet Explorer to version 9 will also resolve the issue, however version 9 will only work on Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems and is not compatible with the Windows XP operating system.

Minelab are working on a remedy for those customers using Windows XP and/or those who do not wish to upgrade to Internet Explorer 9 or use an alternate web browser. A Product Notice will be issued on www.minelab.com when the new version of XChange 2 becomes available.”

Hear, hear! Mind you, I have a Mac with an XP partition and am using Safari for Windows without any problems so far.

Same here, except I use Firefox....I haven't seen any glitches, but then I don't usually hit YouTube from within Windows...and I don't do Facebook!

I used to, but yeah....for the way I'm wired, it's a colossal waste of time. I see why a lot of people enjoy it, though!

However, we DO have an MLO Facebook site which will continue.

I have used it a few times but i mostly looked at how old ex girlfriends turned out in the looks department.

I dodged a few bullets it would seem
