wow your going to be half dead buy the end of the rally, i nearly killed my self on the first one i went to and i was used to digging soil!

I thought I had already answered your question in a PM. Once you have platinum membership your welcome to come. On arrival at the farm you pay the farm campsite for however many days you plan to stay. When you come up to the Donkey field seek me out and you pay your tenner a day for however many days your staying in advance, simples.

I hear ya Tony, maybe next year, I'm driving to Minnesota in September for a K-9 reunion with friends that I served with in Vietnam. Taking my detector with, might get side tracked

I have also thought about going to Australia, hoping maybe to find someone who does gold detecting full time and maybe would like a partner for a month or so, I could help with everything, don't mine camping out. I don't have a lot of money; not a rich guy, just want to do a few things before going to the other side ...someday!

Just to give us ideas of numbers who's coming to Corfe this year. Please add your names to this thread. Platinum members only please at this stage, we may allow non members at a later date if theres space.

I will be taking payment actually on the day this year so no asking to pay in advance. I don't have a paypal account that I can use for this purpose or a bank account anymore that I can access for forum business. I'm certainly not using Garys account because he will spend all the money before I get a chance to pay the farmers, .

Make sure if your coming and want a space for a caravan or M/home that you book a space in plenty of time with Norden Farm campsite specially if you need a hook up. Tent camping shouldn't be a problem as hopefully that time of year there will be plenty of space.

All rally details are on the other corfe thread that I made earlier.

Some months ago I was told that I needed knee surgery, due to the risks involved as I have lung problems I cancelled it. Three weeks ago the knee got worse and I had to contact the hospital again, they put me back on top of the list and ive had the pre opp medical today, the operation should take place within the next eight weeks. I have been told I will be off work for 3 months. Its a total knee replacement they are going to do. Due to this I very much doubt that I will get to Corfe, im gutted. My only hope is that they drag there feet calling me in.
