It should be à impulse machine but They don't operate at 17,5 kHz ? À friend told me it is a kind of a hybrid.

Wonder if he managed to recover the bangle or if the spade went through it ...

No fun digging that deep for every target....

I haven't had the machine in my hands yet but the disk seem to work quiet right, this could be a competitive machine for the Minelab GPX series!!!
The Nocta golden Sense cost 950 euro, about 790 pounds!!!!!!

Doesn't show much of anything does it.

Might even be something shovelled back in upper layers of the infill.

The GPX will get just one coin at that depth, but the golden sense is a good price, but if thats the case why not get the Whites TDI pulse and stick a double D coil on it

Why Waste time using an ordinary detector when you have the option to use a GPX4800.

Would a dd coil make the tdi better at disc.?

Nice video but I wouldn't sell my E-Trac just yet. If it looks too good to be true, it usually is.

Just a hunch - perhaps that thing is actually some sort of magnetometer, and the ring was in fact painted iron?

    Funny question maybe?

Can a GPX be tuned down in depth?
Other than lifting the coil off the ground???

Any detector can be tuned down in depth, the GPX can yes but not as much as most detectors because the level of discrim isnt high

on a serious note ....how does it compare with a gpx.

i think if it does compare .....minelab are going to need to reduce there prices very soon.....bet some of the gpx users are not impressed with its cost.

    how much is the gpx?

Re: Nocta Golden Sense, not bad not bad at all!!!

Why is this machine being compared to a GPX ?
    Its not pulse induction

Re: Nocta Golden Sense, not bad not bad at all!!!

I have yet to hear about one single nokta user that is both satisfied and not involved with the company.

I think any Minelab will beat them all and certainly no match for the GPX s.

There is atleaste 3 brands of turkish detectors running the same advertising and impressive homepages. But not a single praise from a customer ?

    Primae noctis...

I want to have a go on hot mineralized ground with hot rocks and see if it recovers the bangle

The GPX is really designed for something different than just finding coins on beaches

Re: Nocta Golden Sense, not bad not bad at all!!!

why anyone does not see the trick of the video?
they do not show the soil they dug out. only showing the empty hole and placing the bracalet without showing the out soil. then they are filling back the soil nearby.so there is something inside the soil nearby.and none of the devices can give such signal to a weak deep target.on video this tricky device just gives the signal that the target is on the surface. can you beliave that?what a heck!
nokta devices never proved themselves and they are only black marketing with propaganda advertisings. all lie and trick. this company is technology disabled.do not believe on their videos.

Re: Nocta Golden Sense, not bad not bad at all!!!

I can tell you this is one deep metal detector, nothing at my club has come close to the depth of this thing, even the ctx with large coil on. As it runs at 17.5 khz it is also super sensetive to small silver, I have had a saxon sceat at 10 inches and yesterday I dug a Henry groat at 15 inches. I know it looks odd but it does the business. I have used an explorer se for over five years with the 15'' sef and this come no where near the Nokta. I have now been using this detector a month and its turning up finds from amazing dept. Just thought I would put the record straight.
