    New User, Just Bought E-TRAC

Hello, guys. I'm 22-year-old guy from Latvia. I'm private serving to my country and doing my duty. A year ago, I decided to try my luck on to metal-detecting, because history and archeology has always been very interesting to me, so I bought my first detector "Treasure Hunter", after few months using this detector I understood that my "bargain" on e-bay was total disaster, because detector I bought operated pell-mell, didn't get any good finds except WW I german soldier dog-tag, a ring, few bullets and few copper coins dated 1934, but most of finds was tons of trash and it made my detecting moral go to zero, my detectors "discrimination" didn't work as it should and depth was pathetic and so I stopped detecting until this year, I got chance to borrow money from a credit company to buy my E-TRAC. I have it for about 3 weeks now and I didn't have chance to put it to test because it was too cold, ground was frozen and covered with 30 cm deep snow. Past few days had been quite warm so some snow has melted away and temperatures are quite ok for detecting, I'm eager to test my new E-TRAC this weekend, so I'll keep you guys posted about my progress. I just hope E-TRAC won't let me down and my investment will pay back. I did allot of study about E-TRAC and local history, so I hope I'll bring home some of German crusader's gold. sry, guys, about my english, wasn't born in english speaking country!

Thank you so much! I'm happy that I found this great forum, this forum should be advertised as a bonus if anyone buys a Minelab detector.
